Qualified engineer, career initially in manufacturing. As Cycle Time Champion in a global microelectronics manufacturing company, implemented lean management projects in various production lines achieving JIT certification for these. Moved from manufacturing to aviation, and after a spell in the airline business as a Components Subcontracting Engineer, joined Lufthansa Technik in 2002 as Materials Supervisor. Lufthansa Technik was setting up a new MRO in Malta with maintenance and overhaul capability for B737 and A320. In this position, I set-up a new team responsible for the full non / aircraft materials supply chain, covering the initial capability build-up and stabilisation. The business was successful, and growth rapid with new hangar and capability extension for A330/340 in 2008. The supply chain was subsequently taken over by Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services which I joined as Purchasing and Planning Manager. In this role, I supported the centralisation effort by LHT to off-shore indirect services like Supply Chain. In 2012 I joined Ameco Beijing (an Air China and Lufthansa owned MRO) as Manager Purchasing and Planning, where I created and lead the Strategic Purchasing effort for Ameco resulting in significant cost saving results and initiatives. I am now, since some months, also covering the position of Head Supply Chain for Ameco Beijing.

1985-1989年毕业于北京理工大学飞行器工程系，曾在北京汽车摩托车联合制造公司、北京飞机维修工程有限公司担任过重要技术职务。2009年加入国航股份工程技术分公司航材部，主要负责国航航材管理工作，2013年加入国航股份集中采购部，主要负责飞机、发动机、航材采购和进出口业务。
